A modular design with a variety of size options allows each buyer to customize the system to a particular application.   This translates to a product that meets the desired performance objective for the application. This might be maximizing heat recovery or minimizing capital costs, or some combination of the two.

–Low Water Content

Since there is only a small volume of heated water, the risk of a steam explosion is removed. This feature also provides quick start-up capability. Some units with this feature can start steam generation from a cold state in 15 minutes or less. The lower water volume also keeps the size of a system smaller and more lightweight.

–Compact Footprint

State-of-the-art steam generators in the market today take up one-third of a traditional boiler’s floor space requirements.

–Smooth Tube Heat Exchange

Smooth tube design in a system allows soot blowing during operation. This helps simplify cleaning and soot control and effectively helps decrease the inherent safety issues.

–Ability to Run Dry Up to 840° F

In environments that don’t require continuous steam or hot water, a steam generator that can run dry (not requiring feed water) with exhaust gas temperatures reaching 840° F (450° C) or with higher temperatures for limited time periods, removes the requirement for exhaust gas bypass dampers.

–Common Skid For All Components

For components like the separator/steam drum, feed water tank, softeners, blow down tank and chemical pumps, packaging all of them on one skid keeps the unit compact and in one place.

–Positive Displacement Diaphragm Pump

Having this type of pump for a main feed water source means less maintenance because there are no packings or seals that may leak or need repair or replacing. This also removes the possibility of wear and tear from grit on pistons, because they are not in contact with feed water.
